Our cable troughs and choice of covers provide a durable, lightweight and low maintenance solution for protecting and accessing service cables across a wide range of industrial and infrastructure environments.
Combining a 100% recycled plastic trough with anti-slip GRP grating lids, and tested to BS EN 124 Class A15 requirements, this system offers a practical alternative to traditional precast concrete units.
Designed for more efficient handling and faster installation, the system delivers excellent strength-to-weight performance while helping save time, labour requirements and ongoing maintenance costs.
Suitable for both new infrastructure projects and upgrade works, these modular troughs are ideal for environments where durability, safety and ease of access are essential.
The modular design allows straight runs to be formed efficiently by interlocking units end-to-end, supporting fast and practical on-site installation.
Traditional concrete trough systems can be difficult to transport, manoeuvre and install safely on site. Our recycled plastic and GRP solution provides the same practical cable protection benefits in a significantly lighter, easier-to-handle format.

Our Cable Troughs are available with a choice of either open mesh or solid GRP grating covers.
AutoGrate Open Mesh Grating
Manufactured from 25mm AutoGrate® moulded GRP open mesh grating, this option provides excellent drainage and slip resistance while maintaining high strength and reduced weight.
Solid Top Grating
Manufactured from 28mm Solid Top GRP grating, this option provides an enclosed anti-slip surface while retaining the durability and corrosion resistance benefits of GRP.

The system complies with BS EN 124 Class A15 requirements and is suitable for light duty (pedestrian and cycle) areas where vehicles do not have access.
Our cable trough system is suitable for a wide range of sectors and infrastructure projects, including:
